A sette anni di distanza dal bellissimo album Il Contrario dell’Amore, torna una delle mie cantanti preferite e, ritengo, una delle più talentuose autrici della musica italiana: Laura Abela, più nota come L’Aura. Lo fa col nuovo singolo Pastiglie, che qui vi propongo. Mi auguro che abbia successo e che sia presto seguito da un album e da un tour.

Due settimane fa è uscito “Arcobaleno” il nuovo singolo di Nathalie, ex vincitrice di X-Factor. La canzone anticipa il suo album Freemotion, scritto e prodotto in camper, ad impatto zero. E che dire, lascio parlare la musica. E’ davvero una canzone fresca e solare e vi invito ad ascoltarla. A me piace tanto!

Qualche giorno fa è uscito il nuovo singolo e video dei Melancholia, intitolato Hypnos. Mi confermano ancora una volta la loro bravura e la loro coerenza artistica. Dopo il bel cd “What are you afraid of?“, con singoli belli come Leon ed Alone, e dopo il singolo Medicine, dell’anno scorso, la band di Foligno torna con un nuovo brano sempre in inglese e nel loro stile elettronico-pop-rap. Hypnos anticipa il nuovo ep, Sleep Mode, in uscita il primo d’Aprile. Gli auguro tanta fortuna e consiglio a tutti di ascoltare questo brano, vedere questo video e ascoltare loro in generale. Sono bravi, meritano!

Show’s Rollin’ – Elisa – Nuova canzone – Testo – Lyrics
Elisa pubblicherà un doppio album il 18 Febbraio, dopo la sua partecipazione al Festival di Sanremo (dove parteciperà con la canzone O forse sei tu). Il titolo del progetto è Ritorno al Futuro/Back to the Future. Un cd sarà in italiano, l’altro in inglese: tutti brani inediti. Ieri sono state pubblicate sui suoi canali ufficiali le tracce di apertura dei due lavori paralleli: A Tempo Perso e Show’s Rollin’.
Io ho scelto la traccia in inglese, qui, perché la preferisco e perché ho un debole per il lato anglofono della produzione musicale di Elisa. Credo che con l’inglese sia molto più libera di creare e di esplorare sonorità diverse, cosa che, per un talento così duttile è davvero necessario.
Show’s Rollin‘ ha sonorità unisce varie sonorità: r’n’b, soul, elettro-pop/urban. È davvero un gioiellino e fa ben presagire per il resto dell’album. Questa canzone trasmette energia positiva e liberatoria e si nota che Elisa è tornata a spingere con la voce, cosa che non le sentivo fare dal un bel po’… e che apprezzo. Ho scoperto da poco questa cantante svedese, Agnes Carlsson. In realtà, ha una lunga carriera, ma personalmente solo pochi giorni fa ho saputo della sua esistenza… grazie alle Stories di Instagram. Tra i brani consigliati c’era una sua canzone. Ecco, questo è uno dei lati positivi dei social network: la possibilità di essere introdotti a nuova arte (di qualunque tipo essa sia)…. Il brano che qui propongo è la title-track del nuovo album di Agnes, ovvero Magic still exists… secondo me un vero gioiello, sia il cd che il brano.
